I just got clued into a excellent conference for educational technology that is taking place not too far away. The AECT conference (Association for Educational Communications and Technology) will be in Anaheim from Oct 23-27th. Keynote speakers include Mark Prensky (computer games for ed) and Stephen Downes (NRC - well know speaker on technology)
