As many of you know the LA Time has posted a database of elementary teachers with their "Value Added" rating. The value added score is a calculation of the amount of improvement students make from the previous year relative to other students in the district. So if a student was at 40% one year and 50% the next, their teacher would have "added" value. Here are some useful links:
