What is the CSUN Teacher Resource Database?

The CSUN Teacher Resource Database is a place where educators at every level can find helpful information to facilitate their instruction in the classroom, build upon their professional skills, and improve student learning. Information and activities presented are web based and include Technology Tools, Special Needs Education, Classroom Management, as well as the following subject areas:

• Art
• Career Resources
• Computer Science
• English
• Health
• International Languages
• Math
• Music
• Science
• Social Science
• Physical Education

All resources are categorized and may be researched by subject, grade level, or resource type.  The type of resources included are:

• Computer Game
• Information Source (e.g. encyclopedia, books, periodicals, research based)
• Lesson Plan
• Media Source (e.g.  PowerPoint, lecture, movie, training video)
• Online Activity
• Teacher Tool
• Web Quest and/or other websites. 

Visitors are encouraged to add and share resources through the “create content” option.  When you “click” on this option, you’ll find that you may add/share “helpful information” with others in the form of an Article, Blog entry, Page, Story, and a Teacher Resource. You must create an account and log in to add content to the site using the "create content" option.
