I played this game for a couple of hours. My intent was to play for a few minutes only and then try out one of the other games. Just like anything on the computer, you loose track of time and I did. I was so intent on trying to find that mate. I did came across three wolves, but no mate. I worked on my jumping and trying to catch coyotes and the elk heard. The only thing that I was able to eat was a few rabbits and elk carcus.

I was a bit thrown off by the conversation that I needed to have with the other wolves. When I clicked on I am not a threat, my wolf looked at me with great distaste. I then changed my answer and I scared one of the wolves away. I was then challenged by another and I noticed that my food line was going lower faster than the other wolf, so I left him alone. I did come across a girl wolf, but she was not interested and ran away. I think I try to play the game from a girl point of view next time to see if anything is different.

I feel like this game would match up will with the book The Call of the Wild. I am sure that is what it is intended for. I used it in my gaming class for my students to write the pseudocode for the game. I wanted them to think like a gamer and to realize how much work and thought goes into the planning, creating and testing of gaming. This does help my students develop linear and critical thinking skills. This also helps them work on predictions of what is to come next.
