Misconceptions in Science
To begin the discussion of misconceptions we considered several Analogies_of_Learning. Each of these capture different aspects of how learning can reduce the misconceptions of science. Some like Minstrel and Poincare emphasize the structure of knowledge - connecting ideas together correctly. Others like Popper and Confucius emphasize the replacing of bad ideas with good ones. This is a key question in cognitive psychology as well as learning.
