Grades 2 - 12
This website which is a division of the American Library Association site is a great resource for teachers and students. Teachers can visit this site and browse the many books which have won the Caldecott Medal from 1938 to the present. This resource can help new or experienced teachers expand their libraries with quality books for the students. There is also a section of Caldecott winners of books translated into other languages. The option of books that have been translated into other languages could encourage students whose family speaks another languague other than English to still read with their family members at home. Also when first introducing the concept of the Caldecott Medal to your students this would be an interesting website for them to visit.(Emily Shepherd)
