Abstract Writing
From Eduwiki
An abstract is a type of summary of a paper that lists the most critical information about the paper so that a person can read it and know if they want to read the rest. It should stand on its own (be complete) and be in generally written in the third person (passive voice OK).
- Abstract should be short 150-300 words (one short paragraph)
- Use full justification for that blocky look and indent from both margins
- Your conclusions should be no more than 2 sentences - emphasize the type of project and methods
- No citations are necessary (but they are OK)
- Spell out Acronyms
